Proposal Guidelines

NBPC Proposal Deadline is February 1, 2025

​

The deadline for submitting proposals to the National Best Practices Conference (NBPC) is February 1, 2025. We invite educators to contribute their insights and methodologies that highlight instructional best practices in education.

 

Proposals should aim to engage participants and provide actionable insights into implementing these best practices effectively within their educational environments.

 

We are looking for dynamic proposals across various educational fields, as follows:

  • Best Practice in Math

  • Best Practice in Science

  • Best Practice in Social Studies

  • Best Practice in Language Arts

  • Best Practice in Bilingual Education

  • Best Practice in Dual Language Education

  • Best Practice in English as a Second Language Education

  • Best Practice in General Education

  • Best Practice in Gifted and Talented Education

  • Best Practice in Special Education

  • Best Practice in Early Childhood Education

  • Best Practice in Technology in the Classroom

  • Best Practice for Administrators

Please Carefully Review the NBPC Presenter Agreement Prior to Submitting Your Proposal

Important Dates and Registration:

  • All accepted presenters must register for the NBPC conference by February 1, 2025.

  • A $50 registration discount will be provided for the lead presenter.

  • ​

Proposal Submission Guidelines:

  • Proposals must focus on instructional best practices for K-12 learners in various specified areas.

  • Proposals promoting products or services should be submitted as Commercial proposal and are subject to separate review.

  • Do not include any personal identifying information (name, title, organization) in the proposal title or it will be disqualified.

  • If presenting in a non-English language, submit your proposal in that language.

 

Content Requirements:

  • Title: Limit of 15 words.

  • Description: Provide a brief description of the instructional best practice; this will be published in the conference program.

  • Presenter Bio: Limit of 50 words.

 

Presentation Materials:

  • Presenters are responsible for the printing and distribution of their materials.

 

Types of Presentations:

  • Standard Presentation: 60 minutes, interactive session on instructional best practices.

  • Commercial Demonstration: 60 minutes, must also provide useful information alongside promoting goods or services.

 

Presenter Responsibilities:

  • The user profile used for submission will be designated as the Lead Presenter.

  • Each presenter may be involved in up to three presentations in total.

  • Presenters must be available to present on any of the three days of the conference.

  • Co-presenters must also be registered by the deadline.

 

Conference Registration and Fees:

  • No registration fees are waived for presenters.

  • All presenters, including co-presenters, must be registered by February 1, 2025, to avoid cancellation of the presentation.

 

Communication:

 

Presenter No-Show Policy:

  • Failure to notify NBPC of a session cancellation before the scheduled session may result in exclusion from future conferences.

 

Accessibility:

  • For ADA accommodations or the need for a Sign Language Interpreter, please contact us by February 1, 2025, at info@myNBPC.com.

 

This comprehensive agreement ensures all participants are fully informed of their responsibilities and the conference's expectations to facilitate a successful and informative event.
